To Clone Your Bone you will need the following Items.

1. Alginate impression material------ This is obtained at dental equipment supply stores and most likely there is one near you , It has different set times from slow to fast,ideally you want a mix time of 1 minute and a set time of 1 to 2 minutes. Sold in 1lb packs or 2 lb.containers under many different brand names. you will need about 8oz.of Alginate to 24.oz of water.

dental equipment and supplies and enter your city and state.You will find addresses and phone numbers of alginate suppliers in your area. Just go get it and save the shipping cost if you can. alginate runs about $6.00 per pound and up.

2. Casting cup ----This is what you will pour the casting mix in and  insert your wet bone into to make your impression , here are some ideas for containers. 

1. Use a big gulp cup from a convenience store .
2. cut the top off of a plastic bottle of water to your size.
3. A 1qt. milk container cut to size.
4. A tubular poster mailing container cut to size.

*Note. the alginate to water ratio of 8.oz alginate to 24.oz water will fill a container that is 3" wide by up to 10" long for casting, if your container is larger than this you will need more of each .

3. Casting Material .----- You have several options here to cast your bone out of, from expensive to cheap, from silicones to resins, Clone Your Bone has always provided wax to cast with,if you ever have been to a wax museum you would understand why this is a lifelike median to cast with when used properly.  We also provided silicone casting instructions with our kits .
Clone Your Bone people discovered an amazingly effective way to cast in 100% silicone for around $10.00.

Here are some options for casting materials for your bone.
1.wax sold in grocery stores under the brand Parowax in 1lb.boxes for about $3.00
2.100% silicone available at your local hardware store in tubes under brands Dow Corning , GE etc. under $7.00
3.Plaster of paris available in small boxes at hobby and hardware stores.
4. Liquid rubber, do a google search for Rubber casting material there is a company called smooth-on that has a lot of good casting info and products , a bit pricey though.
5. Casting resins available in hobby stores and hardware stores.
